EasyRands ("the App", "we", "us") is an invoicing and quoting application for small businesses. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, used solely to identify your account and sync your data across devices.
Business data you create: Invoices, quotes, credit notes, client details (names, contact information, addresses), catalogue items, and your business profile (name, logo, banking details for invoice display) that you enter into the App.
Payment integration data (optional): If you choose to connect a Paystack account to accept payments, your Paystack secret key is stored securely and is never shared with or accessible to us directly — it is used only by our backend to process payment requests on your behalf.
Subscription and purchase data: If you subscribe to EasyRands Pro, Google Play processes the payment. We receive and store only your subscription status (active/inactive) to unlock Pro features — we do not receive your payment card details.
Contacts (optional): If you choose to import a client from your device's contacts, the App accesses your contacts list only at that moment, and only the contact you select is copied into your client list.
Device security data: If you enable a PIN or biometric lock, this is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.

How We Use Your Information

To provide core App functionality — creating, storing, and syncing your invoices, quotes, and client records across your devices.
To authenticate your account and keep your data private to you.
To verify and manage your Pro subscription status.
To generate PDF documents and enable you to share them via email, messaging apps, or other apps on your device.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your business data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), a secure cloud database, and/or locally on your device. Data is encrypted in transit. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with:

Google Firebase — for authentication, data storage, and backend processing.
Google Play Billing — for processing Pro subscription payments.
Paystack — only if you choose to connect your own Paystack account to accept payments from your customers.

Your clients' contact details you enter into the App (e.g. on an invoice) may be shared with those clients directly by you when you send them a document, which is expected use of the App.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account remains active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App's settings, or by contacting us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

EasyRands is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
